VL818 - USB 3.2 5Gbps Hub Controller

Description

VIA Lab’s VL818 is a modern USB 3.2 SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps Hub Controller, featuring an optimized cost-structure and full compliance with USB 3.2 specification including ECNs and Compliance Testing Updates to date. VL818 is offered in both 2-port and 4-port configurations, and features integrated voltage regulators, new lower-power design, and comprehensive USB Charging support. VL818 supports any combination of SuperSpeed (5Gbps), High Speed (480Mbps), Full Speed (12Mbps), and Low Speed (1.5Mbps) devices. The integrated 5V DC-DC switching regulator enables VL818 to be powered directly from 5V USB VBus, reducing BOM cost while offering high power efficiency.
